Volume A is authors life stories and covers many parts of the country together with much wartime information during WW2. Volume B is mainly within Lancashire and covers back to the late 1100's. Volume C is partly Cumbria with a direct link to a Dane, Bertram de Kerleton, who rowed across the North Sea in 1064 and also Essex and the South-East of England. Volume D is based generally in the South-East of the country. Volume E deals with Maggie Parkinson and Volume F covers the Fylde area.
